where do I find the air vent valve for my cruise control.
Optional Information: Year: 1993 Make: Volvo Model: 940 wagon Engine: 4cyl Already Tried: I am trying to get my cruise control to work. I replaced the vacuum ball by the injectors. Still looking for the air vest valve or also called the cruise control switch.
Hello! There is a switch on the brake pedal that dumps vacuum when the brake is applied, and there is a nipple on the electric cruise vacuum pump that is not intended to have a hose on that also breaks vacuum to release the cruise. Carefully inspect the vacuum pump and the rubber elbows and plastic tubing. Often the leak is at a rotten elbow at the vacuum pump. The pump is located low on the left inner spring tower under the hood.
