Volvo v40 2001 Y plate which I've owned for 7 years. Fine up to last night. Switched on today and no tacho, clock, speedo, odometer, fuel or temp gauge. Engine starts fine, lights work, all instrument panel warning lights and indicator lights work. Just 'Pin CodE' displayed on display panel of speedo. I've tried using the reset button before and after switching to key position 2, makes no difference. The garage I use have never seen this fault and Volvo main dealer wants £100 just to plug in his diagnostic computer. There must be a simple solution, anyone, please?

HiUnable to reset it yesterday, but today I pressed the reset while starting and all now OK. A mystery but no further help needed.
