I used an actron engine diagnosis tool to reset the service engine light in my 1997 Volvo 850 t5 wagon and now the car will not start. THe engine turns over and smells like it is flooded but will not fire. I have used the tool on other cars

does the engine sound like it spins really fast?? or does it spin normally? If it sounds like it spins fast.. I would hold the gas pedal to the floor and grind on it till it cranks. might take 30 seconds but let the starter motor spin and spin and it will start coughing and fire up if its flooded. don't know why those 850's flood but I've seen him get towed in.. I'll go out there and hold them to the floor and they fire up and are fine after that.
