1999 Volvo V70: the fuel pump..wheel drive..wagon..rear seat

I am replacing the fuel pump on a 1999 Volvo V70 Cross Country all wheel drive wagon. How do I remove the upper part of the rear seat?

you have all wheel drive

ENES :

car your pump for the fuel has to be done from under the car

you have to remove the fuel tank to get access to fuel pump plus rear drive shaft and part of rear subframe has to come out

there is not access hole from inside that is only if you car is not allwheel drive

Thank you for the info. I plan on cutting an access hole through the metal behind the seat, here is a link to what I am going to do. I can't get the upper part of the seat out. That is what I need help with. http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=20367

let me find the info how to remove the seat i never did cut a hole to do that repair not safe.
