How can I download pictures from camera to computer? I spent

Customer Question

How can I download pictures from camera to computer? I spent all day yesterday and still cannot get it.
JA: What's the exact make and model of the camera? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Camera is one month old and is a SX720HS and I am ready to trash it. Never had this problem with the Kodak
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have read manual until I am ready to croak. I must be missing something reading the directions. I have a Netgear network but don't know how to do this
JA: Anything else you want the camera expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I just need someone to help me get photos downloaded

The easiest way to transfer your photos to your computer is to use a SD card reader that attaches directly to the computer using a USB connection

Some computers already have this built in however for most you will require a $10 memory card reader that you can easily get in your Target / Walmart electronic department

One online to compare to is https://www.amazon.com/Transcend-microSDHC-Reader-TS-RDF5K-Black/dp/B009D79VH4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480270944&sr=8-1&keywords=SDXC+Card+Reader

Once you have on of these, then you can take your SD card (memory card) from your camera, insert it into your card reader, and you can access your photos like a disk from your computer, this is by far the easiest way to transfer your photos by copy and pasting these files from the memory card. Additionally this prevents the need to have our camera powered during transfer.
