Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is***** will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

If the power switch truly needs repairing (and it certainly sounds like it), and given the camera being obviously out of warranty coverage, I can say that this repair company:

You will need to contact a repair location directly, to get an estimate for this sort of work.

There is actually only one repair location for FujiFilm themselves in the USA, it is in New Jersey. See this page:

http://www.fujifilmusa.com/support/ServiceSupportRepairContent.do?dbid=674543

The regular way to get an estimate from them, is to mail in this form:

https://camerarepair.fujifilmusa.com/Forms/RepairForm.htm

and they will mail you back an estimate.

Other sites (not FujiFilm) will give you an estimate of repair if you contact them:

http://www.precisioncamera.com/contact-us.html

or

http://www.unitedcamera.com/about/contact.aspx

So there is no direct quote source directly available, unfortunately... unless you have local shops to ask.

And with your locality info, I will inform you of listings for those.

And, for a power switch replacement, which is not at all a major repair, your price for the repair is not likely to be large.

I appreciate your answere. Was nthis why I was charged $14.00 for?
Expert:  Russell H. replied 2 months ago.

I'm a little surprised at the figure you quote... I would have thought you might be charged a different figure.

But, I really have no power over charges, billing, no access to your credit information. For all such concerns I must refer you to Customer Support at JustAnswer.com. They may be reached at
