Customer Question

What does the F:) mean when I plug in my camera to put a picture on my Windows 10?
JA: What's the exact make and model of the camera? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Panasonic with Lumix (which I deleted from the computer) and about 10 years old.
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I turn on the camera, push menu and the lightning bolt then is ready to put a pic on the computer. This pops up before I can do anything
JA: Anything else you want the camera expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I don't think so.

Hello! Thank you for your question. I will be assisting you today.

I'm sorry about the issue. F: means the camera's location on your computer.

- When you see F:, can you open F: (double-click on it), then double-click on the folder DCIM and/or any subfolder, then do you see your pictures there?
