Hi, I'm Pete. Welcome to JustAnswer! I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with your reply ASAP.
There may be an incorrect setting somewhere.
Try using the Setup menu to select "Clear all camera settings" and let me know if there is any improvement?
It's ok, we can reply back and forth as often as necessary to get a solution.
You can ignore any automated offers that pop up.
Press the Menu button, then move across to select the wrench setting, then move down to select Clear Settings: see below.

What version of firmware is installed on your camera?
What features do you see listed when you go to the Setup menu?
When you press the Menu button, there should be three wrenches along the top - move across to the last wrench setting, then move down to select "Clear Settings". After that, you should see an option to "Clear all camera settings".
Ok, can you check under the other wrenches as well?
If I knew what version of firmware your camera was using I could advise further.
You should see the firmware version listed in the same Setup3 menu (the third wrench across):
Ok, in that case your Rebel EOS T2i camera may be using a much older version of the firmware which has different menu options.
You should try updating the firmware to the latest version - this will work the same as resetting it, as well as fixing any bugs and glitches, so it should resolve the issues you are having.
