I have Tamron 24-70 mm F2.8 lens and it stopped working after I dropped it last Thursday at a volleyball game. The lens does not focus. Is the autofocus sensor damaged?
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Tamron SP 24-70 mm f/2.8 USD 022 Di. It's about 3 years old.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: since last Thursday.

If the lens won't work on two different camera bodies after it has been dropped, then it has likely suffered some shock from the drop.

It will need to be sent for servicing.

You can either take the lens to your local Tamron dealer, or arrange a repair through the Tamron website:
