Customer Question

I just purchased the Nikon COOLPIX B500. I transfer all my pictures from my camera to my computer. I have windows 10. My new Nikon did not come with a CD to make this happen. How do I accomplish this task without a CD. Do I need to take my camera back and get another camera that will do this for me? BEN
JA: What's the exact make and model of the camera? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Nikon COOLPIX B500 I purchased the camera 1 week ago.
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I do not have a problem with the camera. It works fine. As I stated, the new camera did not come with a CD to make it possible to down load the pictures from my camera to my windows 10 computer.
JA: Anything else you want the camera expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: NO.

Hello,
I am the person that will be helping you today.

You may transfer the photos by simply plugging the camera into the computer. When you do that, you should be given the picture import wizard window. If it doesn't come up, you can open the File Explorer window (Press Windows key and the letter E )
- In the new window, you should see the camera icon, which you can then double click. In the DCIM folder, you will find the pictures, which you can then copy and paste to your computer.
