Problem: Hasselblad CFV 50 for 500 C. Digital back turns on

Customer Question

Problem: Hasselblad CFV 50 for 500 C. Digital back turns on and red and orange light blinks and V icon flashes on screen. But I can't open the menu from there, and I can't turn it off. Just keeps blinking or goes blank with orange light still on. I have been to the menu once before, but not since, and I know the battery is fully charged. Can you help?

Edward, this sounds like a software glitch - have you tried updating the software on your CFV-50?

Thanks for your interest. I will go to the site to see if I can download an update. Can't access the "about" section of the menu on the CFV 50c to know what version I have! Back to you tomorrow. Today is full up!!

Ok, let me know how it goes!

I probably have the latest firmware, but will download when I have the Thunderbolt adapter for the FireWire cable. Can't connect without it. Have also asked Hasselblad to check into the problem. Back to you when I have updated news or info. Thanks!
