JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: none, just replaced the batteries.

Hello Ron,

Unfortunately service for these cameras is not generally practical. These GE cameras are at the bottom end of the quality spectrum, so for a 2011 model your camera has already lasted well past its expected service life for this brand. While it can be fixed, they are not supported by GE, they provide no parts or repairs.

There are some aftermarket repair options, and I can help you find a shop that could work on it for you, but repairs for these are often not possible simply because GE won't even provide parts for them. Even if you can get it repaired, that is not necessarily a good investment, as you will end up spending about as much to fix it as you would to buy a brand new camera, from a more reputable brand, and with a fresh warranty.
