My camera won't zoom in anymore and I don't receive a error

Hi my camera won't zoom in anymore and I don't receive a error message either when i try it
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: panasonic lumix model dmc-fz18
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: the company won't let me because i think the camera is to old
JA: Anything else you want the camera expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have tried calling the company but they charge 10 for over the phone service and it's only the zoom problem I'm having with my camera

Can you remove the battery please then hold the shutter button down for 60 seconds then release.
Wait 5 minutes, put the battery back in and try to turn it on.

Can you turn it upside down and put it on something that vibrates such as an electric razor

Then power it on and off 5 times and tell me if this gets it unstuck and focusing please

still doesn't work the control it self works like i can move it but the camera when i look on the little screen or big one it wont let me zoom in on my shot

Can you still get to the menu? If so, go to Menu, Setup and reset.

It is the internal mainboard that has faulted, this now confirms it
