I am having trouble with my camera, not my printer. I have some pictures that I took with my canon Power Shot SX50. I can't open the pictures from the memory card. Do I need to get special software for this? Did software come with the purchase of this camera? I have had this for some time now.... SOS
JA: Has your Canon done this before? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: I used to be able to open this before, no problem, but for awhile now I have been having problems. I have not used my camera for some time, so I having this difficulty on and off. I think this camera is at least 3 years old.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: I am using a PC. I have tried using my newer PC, it is a Windows 10 home edition. I have also tried to open this with my laptop, which is Windows 7. It used to work on Windows 7, but not it just doesn't.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It has actually been some time, but I somehow managed to open it after a lot of trial and error. I don't even remember how I did and which icons or programs I clicked. But this time nothing is happening. And besides, like I said, I don't remember what worked.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

What is the File Type shown on the General tab of the Properties of one of the files?
