Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
Where does the process break down? is there any error message accompanying the failure to transfer photos?
OK, I see. The introduction of Windows 10 may have changed matters for your system.
Have you loaded the Pandigital camera utility *after* Windows 10 was loaded on your computer?
If not, I would advise that you
1. uninstall the old installed instance of Pandigital camera utility
2. restart the computer
3. reinstall the Pandigital camera utility.
4. connect the camera, *after* it is done installing, and see if the Pandigital utility can use the camera properly.
Is there any error message, or does the camera connection just seem 'dead' ?
Try looking in the
display, for a camera object or 'drive' that might appear, if the camera is being recognized by the computer.
What is the maker and model of your camera?
It seems the camera is not recognized by your Windows 10 (upgraded) PC, but it should be.
I cannot find anything like Windows 10 drivers for your Pentax K-x model, though there should be something of the sort.
With apologies I have Opted Out... with a parting suggestion, that you may need to try a different USB cable, or several different USB ports on the computer, just in case one has gone dead.
Hi there and welcome
Can you tell me please the make and model of your computer?
