Hi. My name is*****'m a camera repair technician with almost 30 years in the business and I'll be glad to help you with your question today.
Although I've repaired hundreds, cif not thousands of these over the last 30 years, it's difficult to tell exactly what is wrong with the camera without actually seeing it to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem. It could be something as simple as dirty battery contacts or the inside of the battery cap can become corroded and not make good contact.
Repair costs vary from shop to shop and many are unable to repair film cameras altogether these days. But, with a little research, you can find a low cost, qualified repair shop for your camera.I'll be happy to recommend one for you but I'll need to know where you are located first.
