A sign has come up on my camera stating.....! protected memory card. What is the problem please

Hello, I'm Shahid. Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with this but I'll do my best to help.

This message appears when camera detects memory card tab is on lock position, please remove memory card form camera, check the side of camera for plastic tab, slide it on unlock position, insert memory card back in camera, turn it On and check.
