Hi. My name is*****'m a camera repair technician with almost 30 years in the business and I'll be glad to help you with your question today.

Do the images taken display normally when viewed on a computer?

Expert:  Rick replied 2 months ago.

Just a note to see if I can be of any further assistance?

Sorry Rick was away on vacation.
Yes the images to display on a computer.
As a matter of fact the last time the pictures did display on the camera itself, I was taking images off the computer
that was linked to the camera via cable. Since then they do not display
Expert:  Rick replied 1 month ago.

I can't really see how that could affect the camera. It's more likely a coincidental failure of the cameras LCD. These go bad all the time and need to be replaced. I would, however, suggest having this done by a trained professional at a Canon authorized repair shop. below is a link th their support page where you can arrange for the repair.

If I can be of further assistance, please ask rather than leave a negative response.
