I was setting my dvr and I change resolution and now it says no signal. How do I get back? thanks

Customer: Last 10 minutes. it is unplugged now. will that reset?

Thanks but I'm not spending a fortune to fix this. spent $5 and not spending more. just bought this I should not have to spend money to fix something that hasn't been hooked for less than 6 hrs.
