Please, do the following:- Push the lens release button then twist the lens a bit, as if to remove it, then twist again to secure the lens, the shutter will work again.
Did that help?
The issue may be related to your focus options. Change the focus option to Manual and try again.
Okay, thank you. Turn the camera off and on once, and try again.
Okay. Don't put it on Auto. Turn the camera off and on once, and try again.
I have run out of ideas.
For this reason, I am opting out of the question and allowing another expert the chance to help.
The next expert will see all that is on this page, so there will be no need to repeat anything.
When another expert picks this up, you will be notified by email.
Thank you for your patience.
Hi. My name is*****'m a camera repair technician with almost 30 years in the business and I'll be glad to help you with your question today.
The "ERR" message is a general error symbol that simply means something is wrong with the camera and needs to be looked at by a qualified technician. If it is just a shutter issue, it can be replaced but it really isn’t a user serviceable problem and should be repaired by a qualified technician. You may want to check locally for a camera repair shop in your area, or, if you need assistance finding a shop, please let me know and I'll locate one for you.
Just a note to see if I can be of any further assistance?
Please provide a positive Rating so that I may be credited for my efforts. If I can be of further assistance, please ask rather than leave a negative response.
