Hi,

Is there any response, at all, even momentary, from the camera? Indicator lights? LCD illumination? Lens movement? etc.?

Have you tried powering the camera on with the memory card removed? If not, please do so and let me know the result. Thank you.

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I just tried that and still nothing is happening.

Were you getting anything with the old battery before you replaced it?

Does the charger appear to go through the entire charging sequence properly?

Try a hard reset. remove the lens, memory card and battery, set the mode dial to M (manual), and switch the camera to the ON position. Allow the camera to sit idle for 30 minutes. Then, switch the camera to OFF, re install the battery, memory card and lens, switch it on. Please let me know the result.

I have to go to a meeting for the next 2 1/2 hours! Should I try to contact you back in the morning?

No problem, I'll be around.
