Hi what size card are you trying?

Has this card worked in the past?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Hi Neil,SD/extreme/32GB/90mbs/class10
Expert:  Neil replied 9 months ago.

Has this card worked in the past... The manual specifies only up to 8GB... So this card may not be compatible

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
the card is used all the time. It is for a UAV (unmanned Aerial vehicle)and needs this type of card to handle the amount of data gathered.

If the card size has worked in the past then it should be fine... It could be a faulty card or the card reader on the camera ghas failed...

Check inside the card slot for any foreign matter, you will need a flash light... If clear and all pins sitting up then you will need to try a different card... If the new card is the same then the reader has failed

is it easily replaceable?
Expert:  Neil replied 9 months ago.

I definitely would not say easy... These can be quite fiddley to change and parts are not always available

Expert:  Neil replied 9 months ago.

Not Easy...

Have you tried a known good card?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I have cleaned the slot with a fabricated cleaning tool and all seems to be working now.
