Hello and thank you for your question. I look forward to assisting you today. Are you powering them by the battery when this happens?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I tested on working camera, with and without battery no issue, as I have 3 of them, 2 is having same issue with random shut off.

They are all the time in church building for last 3 years.

So just to make sure I understand, you are strictly using the battery and no wall power when this happens?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
No, the wall power with or without battery when this happens, also tested with different power supply ;)

Have you noticed if they are getting unusually warm?

No warm

Okay. You have done all of the troubleshooting steps I would have taken. Have you checked the auto power off to make sure it didn't get turned on somehow?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I check auto power off mode, so working cameras had the same settings as camera with issue.

This sounds like a problem with the main circuit board. The only fix is to send it in for service either back to Canon, or I can recommend another service center if you like?
