Hi there and welcome

Do you have a windows computer with a memory card reader in it that you can put the memory card into from the camera?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I have a computer, but I don't know how to get to the memory card.
Expert:  Richard replied 5 months ago.

Ok, which version of windows is on it and what is the make and model of the computer?

Expert:  Richard replied 5 months ago.

It is easier if I connect to your computer and do this for you instead

I altered the offer to do this, please accept it and I can connect to your computer

Expert:  Richard replied 5 months ago.

Do you still wish to work with me on this Judy?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I would like you to work on this since I've already paid you $21.I have Windows XP on my computer. I don't know where the memory card is in my camera.
Expert:  Richard replied 5 months ago.

Thanks, ***** ***** though to know the make and model of the computer please

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
My computer is a Dell Dimension E310
Expert:  Richard replied 5 months ago.

On the bottom of the camera you slide the cover off, where the batteries go and there you see the memory card.

Push it so it pops out then insert it into the memory card slot on the front of your computer

Tell me when you have please

It doesn't fit in my computer...it's too big
Expert:  Richard replied 5 months ago.

If you have the Dell Dimension E310 it will fit in the largest slot at the front.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
There are only two slots...each about half the size of the memory card. HOWEVER, my camera came with a cord that appears to plug into the camera, and then perhaps into one of the smaller slots. Is that what it's for?
Expert:  Richard replied 5 months ago.

ok, if you have that cord, put the memory card back into the camera, then turn it on and connect it to the computer via the cord.

Let me know when you have

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
memory card is in and it the camera is connected to the computer, and camera is on.
Expert:  Richard replied 5 months ago.

ok, click start, my computer

Then click on computer and tell me which drive letter has been assigned to the camera please

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I don't know which drive it is, but when I clicked on "my computer" it shows the camera, just doesn't seem to designate a drive.
Expert:  Richard replied 5 months ago.

ok, this is what I was afraid of and why I wanted to directly use the card.

But download the free program recuva from my link below

http://filehippo.com/download_recuva/download/d0e39d155bbb9c65046a3e3e3fcd4bfb/

Install the program and run it. It is a file recovery program.

Try to choose the camera for it to scan, it will then scan it and anything that can be recovered this program will recover for you.

Let me know please how you go.
