Hi Robin,

Do the pictures come out ok?

Can you see the on-screen menu?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Cannot see anything on my screen. Nothing. It still take pictures and when I take the memory card out and view them on my laptop it shows it has taken it. Also when I switch to the video mode, cannot even see anything through the lens.

Ok, then it is just the display that has a problem - the display ribbon cable may have come loose inside the camera, or the display itself may possibly have failed.

The camera will need to be sent for repair, either to a local camera repair shop or else returned to a Canon service center.
