Try turning Off AIM. When AIM is On, motion detection is a default.

Water in the battery compartment?
Dry it out thoroughly, I would advise - for several days at least. Or wipe it out quite thoroughly with a clean dry lint-free absorbent rag cloth, then air it out for 5+ hours maybe with a fan directed into the open battery compartment.
