I was using a SANDISK EXTREME 64GB SD card on my AF100a

Customer Question

I was using a SANDISK EXTREME 64GB SD card on my AF100a for a wedding and at the end of the day I got a CHECK CARD warning and now the SD card won't mount to my laptop or camera, I'm curious what causes this and how can I recover my footage.
JA: What's the exact make and model of the camera? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Panasonic AG-AF100AP, it's about 4 or 5 years old I believe
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: We've had trouble mounting the card and when we have it either doesn't recognize the format or prompts us to format, we tried both PC and MAC
JA: The camera expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: Nothing comes to mind.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Camera Technician about your situation and then connect you two.

Hi. You need a software that can scan/parse a corrupt card. This should do:

http://www.stellarinfo.com/digital-media-recovery.php

That mainly happen because of non-journalized file system. note that scaning a card without the filesystem normal way can be really long (a whole night).

The issue we currently have is that the card won't mount at all, recovery software usually needs that at minimum.
