I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 and have some pictures

Customer Question

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 and have some pictures stored on the camera in what I thought was termed an alternate place. How do I find them and then save on my card so I can have them printed?

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. If you do not insert the memory card to the camera, then turn on the camera, then can you view those pictures on the camera or not? And if you connect the camera to a computer, can you view those pictures?

And if you insert the memory card to the camera, then turn on the camera, then do you see those pictures or not? And if you connect the camera to a computer, can you view those pictures?

Do you also have a Windows xp, vista, or 7 or 8 or 10 or Mac computer?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you,

The memory card is in the camera but I am unable to view these few pictures. When I have connected the camera to the computer these pictures still do not show-up. I have both MAC and windows(Dell) computers. Thanks, Risa

You're welcome. If you turn off the camera, then remove the memory card from the camera, then turn on the camera, then do you see those few pictures?

I will re-charge the battery and take out the memory card and try that suggestion. I'll let you know what transpires.

OK. Thank you.

I did not see the pictures when I took out the memory card. Now the card and battery are back in the camera.
How do I find my pictures from the memory card?
Expert:  Viet - Camera Tech replied 6 months ago.

Did you take those pictures with or without the memory card inserted previously?

So you took out the memory card, then turn on the camera, then play on camera, but it does not show any picture right?

And if you insert the memory card, then turn on camera, then can you play pictures on camera?

Please let me know. Thank you.

When I took the memory card out of the camera - there was a message that no valid pictures were available. I have now been thru every picture on my card and the pictures in question are not there. I do not remember if the card was in the camera when I took the pictures or not,

Take out memory card from camera, then turn on, then connect it to computer, then open Finder on computer, then click on the camera device there, then check the DCIM folder, etc., and let me know if it shows any picture. Please let me know. Thank you,

I put the memory card in my MAC and see all the same pictures but not the few I am looking for. Unfortunately - I must now stop for a previous commitment. Can I get back to you the middle of next week? Thanks, Risa

If you don't insert the memory card to the computer, and connect the camera to the computer with the USB cable, then open Finder on computer, then click on the camera device there, then check the DCIM folder, etc., and let me know if it shows any picture.

Also, are you sure the pictures were not deleted?

OK, please let me know next week. Thank you.
