I'm sorry about the issue. With the camcorder powered on and connected to the computer with the USB cable, does it show anything new on the camcorder's screen? Does it show USB CONNECT? If yes, can you touch USB CONNECT, then what happens? (Or can you press HOME button / icon, then menu icon (OTHERS), then select USB CONNECT, and check.)
Does it make a sound on the computer when the camcorder is turned on and plugged in the computer?
Does it show the camcorder device in Windows Explorer / File Explorer?
What's the model of your Gateway computer?
Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, 10?
Can we do a remote support session, so I can troubleshoot the issue directly on your computer together with you?
