My grandson used an adapter microchip in s Olympus tough

My grandson used an adapter for a microchip in his Olympus tough 300. Now I can't remove the SDHC card. Any way to safely remove?

Hi there. My name is***** would be my pleasure to assist you with this. I'll need to ask a few questions in order to give the best possible answer. Do you perhaps mean the Olympus tough 3000 rather then the 300? IS this the one where you have to open the batteries door to get to the battery storage and the card storage area? If so, open the battery/card connector cover, then press the card over in, until you hear it click. It should pop up slightly, allowing you to grab it and lift it out. As always, when removing memory cards it's best for your camera to be turned off to prevent damage to the memory card. If the normal steps that I have provided for you don't work, please provide more detail about the adapter that he used so I can assist further.
