i have a cobra 2000 when i turn the power switch on the frequency counter goes black. when i turn it off part of the frequency counter lights up.can you help me?thanks cotton

...and the pictures please?Still, the described symptom almost always point to an internal hardware issue. Are you then considering a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair approach? If yes, do you have access to and familiar with a multi-meter and even a soldering iron?
