If any water got inside, the camera should be dried thoroughly.Place camera, with memory card removed and hatches open, in a warm or slightly hot dry and clean (dust-free) place where it will sit undisturbed, for at least 3 days before trying it again, I advise. 5 days wouldn't hurt. Does the card cover seem loose, or less than secure in its closing? Is there any sign that the seals against water getting into it are less than perfect?
