How does my camera cause some photos to give me a statement "cannot delete protected images:" My camera is a "D3100" I want to delete some of my photos but don't know how.

Hi,I'm sorry about the issue. You have the option to protect any photo on your computer, so that you do not accidentally delete it. To add / remove protection, open the image you want, then press the lock (AE-L / AF-L) icon button. Once protection is removed, then you can delete the image.- Also, to remove protection from all images in the folder or folders currently selected in the Playback folder menu, press the the lock (AE-L / AF-L) button and Trash buttons together for about two seconds during playback.Please reply at the box below to continue.
