I own a Canon Digital Camera SD890 IS which is still an excellent camera. Always have I been able to download pictures to my computer. Sin upgrading to Windows 10 I cannot do this. Furthermore, if any disk was employed I have no trace of it! Please help..

My computer does not have any memory slots per se: Only a front USB. My camera normally connected to this via a suitable cable. As soon as connected, the screen produced instructions as what to do. Follow these and the pictures were downloaded to a pre-selected file. Now, nothing happens since I changed to Windows 10.

Hi, Canon has provided new instructions for downloading photos to Windows 10 computers. Please see the link below If a search box comes up on the page just type in "Windows 10" and that will take you to the information. Please keep in mind that my diagnosis & solutions provided are directly dependent on the accuracy of your description of the problem. As with any "do it yourself" fixes, success is a "team effort", since I can't see or touch the camera, and relies on the customer's manual dexterity and ability to follow the instructions well.
