I have a Nikon COOLPIX P90 and has worked very well for years.
Today I cannot transfer pictures to my computer. I have deleted and re loaded the software that came with the camera and tried an alternative USB port but the software does not find the camera when activated also does not connect to Nikon help on line. The cable connection plug to camera and camera socket seam in good order when viewed under high magnification. I have Windows Vista and works fine.
Any ideas re what next to do

Does that camera's USB cable still charge the camera fine?Does it show anything on the camera's screen when it's connected to the computer?Can you connect a USB external hard drive or a USB flash drive, if you have, to the computer to see if it works or not?Can we do a remote support session, so I can troubleshoot the issue directly on your computer together with you?Please reply at the box below.
