Hello and thank you for your question. I look forward to assisting you today. There may be a small amount of debris keeping the lens from cycling fully. Try using a can of compressed air and blow out all around the lens. If possible, pull the battery while the lens is extended so it remains in that position, then blow it out. Let me know how you come out.
