I Have a D700, for sometime the pictures are overexposed, I would like to reset all the camera settings to its original settings.
I gave following the menu reset proceedings and it still the same, the colors settings are also not enough brilliant..?.

Try a two-button factory reset:

Press and hold the QUAL (image quality/Size) and +/- Exposure Compensation buttons

simultaneously for two seconds (both buttons are marked with a green dot for reference).
