Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

So, do you want to delete some videos from memory to make room?

Sony does not put the capability to delete individual files from its memory. Instead they suggest either copying everything off the camera onto your computer, or reformatting the memory card if that is what is full.

Using internal memory and that memory being full, apparently requires you to copy onto the computer all from internal memory that you don't want to save, then resetting the camera so it wipes the memory. However, this would be easier and less risky:

1. connect the camera to a computer.

2. go to

'Computer' (or on older computers, go to Start - My Computer)

and see if the camera is there as an icon.

3. if so, double-click on the camera icon, and get a files listing.... or else, right-click on the camera icon, and select Explore, to get an Explorer view of the file system on the camera.

4. then when you have a file/Explorer view of files on the camera, find the videos you want to delete, select the one you want to delete, and Del / Delete it.

5. disconnect the camera after step 4) is completely done, and turn it Off for 5 + minutes. Then turn the camera On again, see if it now has sufficient cleared internal memory.
