Hi. My name is*****'m a camera repair technician with over 20years in the business and I'll be glad to help you with your question today.
This error message can mean one of two things. Either the CCD image sensor has gone bad or the cameras shutter is stuck closed. To determine which one it is, turn the camera on and with the lens zoomed all the way out, look down through the lens. If you see a shiny surface at the back of the lens, that's the CCD and the shutter is good. If you see a dull surface, this is the shutter in the closed position. This means the shutter is stuck closed and you will probably need to replace the lens assembly
In either case, the camera should be covered under warranty and Fuji will repair it for free.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. This is more of a problem. I did a quick check on the internet and this model is selling for about $100. Most repairs are actually more than that. If you really like the camera, you can pick up a replacement on Amazon for less than it would cost to repair the one you have
