I have a Kodak PixPro S-1, the screen won't come on, and it doesn't sound like the shutter is opening. I just charge it and still nothing. when I turn it on it make the little musical noise. Any ideas?

Hi,

I understand that you took the memory card out and put it back in, but, have you tried powering the camera up from the off position with the card not in the camera? If not, please try it and let me know the result.

same thing, it sounds like it came on, the green light is on, but the screen is still black.

Try a "hard reset".

Remove the lens, memory card and battery, set the mode dial to M (manual), and switch the camera to the ON position. Allow the camera to sit idle for 30 minutes. Then, switch the camera to OFF, re install the battery and lens, switch it on and observe the display.
