I have two Fuji XE-1 bodies. With both my 18-135 XF Fuji

Customer Question

Hello:
I have two Fuji XE-1 bodies. With both my 18-135 XF Fuji zoom and my 34mm f/1.8 Zeiss Touit, there is rotational play in the bayonet mount between the body and both lenses. It doesn't appear to affect focus and image resolution, but it worries me, especially that it will get worse. Apparently, it is/was a common problem in the XE-1. Should I bother to repair it. The cost of the repairs would probably be equivalent to the value of one of the bodies. And, finally, has this problem been licked in the XE-2, the X-T1 and X-t10? Thank you.

Hi there,

The problem only affects the XE-1, and the other bodies are unaffected.

A repair at this stage would probably not be cost-effective, since it is out of warranty - you would be better off investing in a new body.
