Hi, I have an Olympus TG-860 Tough camera. The battery cover is not opening after unlocking it. Is there something I'm missing?

Hi, my name is ***** ***** it would be my pleasure to help with your issue today. If the battery or memory card itself isn't seated good under the battery cover, it could cause the battery door latch not to disengage when you open the battery lever. Try pressing in on the battery cover while operating the unlocking latch on the battery cover. You may have to press in on it and operate the battery door cover a couple of times to try and free it up. Once you get it open I think you will see that either the battery or the memory card isn't fully seated in it's slot.
