Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. There is no USB port to charge. Do you have the battery charger (you would take the battery out from the camera, and put it in the charger)?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you.

I do not have a battery charger. What is the digital and HDMI ports for
Expert:  Viet - Camera Tech replied 1 year ago.

The USB port is for transferring pictures from the camera to the computer.

The HDMI port is for viewing / playing back pictures on the TV.

I can show you where to buy the battery charger.

Please let me know. Thank you.

4.) You can also purchase the USB interface data cable model IFC-600PCU for connecting the camera to the computer and charge via the computer (and for transferring pictures):

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=IFC-600PCU

http://www.ebay.com/sch/Cables-Adapters-/155707/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=IFC-600PCU

, though charging the camera via the computer is a slower, so I recommend using the battery charger.

5.) You can also purchase the power adapter model CA-DC30, then you can connect the USB interface cable to the power adapter and connect to the camera to charge:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=CA-DC30

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR12.TRC2.A0.H0.XCanon+CA-DC30.TRS0&_nkw=Canon+CA-DC30&_sacat=0

, but the battery charger is charger is cheaper as you have to purchase both the USB cable and the power adapter (unless you also need the USB cable for transferring pictures from the camera to the computer.)
