I'm sorry about the issue. Was scanning working previously? Or is this a new printer or new laptop?
Is there any error or message?
Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, 10, or mac computer?
Did you use a program called (Canon) IJ Scan Utility to scan?
If you do not see the program IJ Scan Utility program on your computer, have you tried going to the Canon website in order to download and install the MG7500 series Full Driver & Software Package, if available (if not, then try the MG7500 series Printer Driver and/or the IJ Scan Utility software)?
