I am trying to download photos on my EOS 450D camera to my (new) computer. I have made the physical connection. When I switch the camera on, it displays "Busy" very briefly. There is no display on the computer.
I have put the Canon EOS digital Solution disk into the computer drive but nothing happens. There is an option to copy the disk onto another disk, but again nothing happens.
Have I got the correct disk? What other reason would there be that the photo download does not occur?

Okay, thank you. You may need to manually start the installation process directly from the CD. Once you put the CD in the drive, do you see a window open indicating the drive has detected it?

If you are having that type of problem, you may be infected with malware. Go to this LINK and download MalWareBytes. Run the program and delete everything it finds during the scan. Get back to me when you can. After you scan your computer, I will try to remote into your computer if you like and check the CD.
