Do you mean you do not have a USB cable that is able to connect from the camera to the computer?
Is there a memory card slot on your computer (takes the memory card out from the camera and see if it fits if there is a memory card slot on your computer)?
Can I provide you the website link where you can purchase the USB cable online for your camera?

Don't try to install the camera's CD disk.
With the camera turned on and connected to the computer, does the camera's screen show anything different?
Open Finder, then do you see the camera device on the left?
Open Finder, then open Applications, then open Image Capture, does it detect the camera?
