Customer Question

I have a DMC-ZS35 CAMERA.
It takes very good pictures, but in sunlight, the screen washes out and prevents me from framing the picture.
This cannot be just my problem and Panasonic must have an answer.
I am looking for an eye peice that allows me to "see" the subject but eliminates the bright sun.
It would have to cover---attach, to the screen.
Please tell me what Panasonic has developed to solve this problem, how is it available, estimated or actual cost; so I can obtain one. Bob Dewire, Punta gorda, Fl.

Hello my name is***** do not rate until we are finished. I look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem. Panasonic has not actually created anything for this, this problem is caused by the type of LCD they chose to use on these model cameras. The easiest way to prevent it is to get an anti-glare cover for the screen itself that changes it from a glassy screen to matte like this: Click Here The glossy screen is what causes the problem, I believe they have switched to matte on some but not all newer models which prevents the glare. If you have any questions at all reply and let me know. If not please don’t forget to leave a positive rating by clicking the stars/smileys for my help - it is greatly appreciated. Please note you are rating me only not this site or your Panasonic.
