I have a Nikon Coolpix S6800. When I turn it on the screen

Customer Question

I have a Nikon Coolpix S6800. When I turn it on the screen shows what looks like a black and white graph. How do I fix this?

Hello there and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today. I am an engineer with over 30 years of electrical and electronic training, repair and installation experience. On the back of the camera, during image playback, press the button with the down arrow once or twice to page through the replay options. This should make the screen with the histogram go away.

Give it a try and let me know if it doesn't work.

Hi Steve. I don't know what you mean by button with the down arrow. I think i have pushed every button and nothing changes.

Is this a graph or a three by three square grid?

Hi again. Sorry for the delay. I was away from a computer.

Are you sure this is a 6800 and not an 8600?

Expert:  Steve G. replied 1 year ago.

I'm sorry. I am going to opt out of this question which will allow other Nikon experts to chime in.

Hold on.
