I have a Pantax digital camera, bought about 8 years ago. My

Customer Question

I have a Pantax digital camera, bought about 8 years ago. My question is, can pictures which have been deleted from the camera's chip be recovered. The reason for the delete is when I opened the files to view, on the computer, each day's photos folder had multiple sub-folders...each sub with the same photos from that day. After viewing the photos, I decited to delete all but one of the sub folders in each day's photo folder. Well, in so doing, I deleted all the photos. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello my name is***** look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem.

Have you used the card since then? When deleted if you use the card the new items over write the old ones.

Freddy...yes, the camera has been used once, I believe, since than. I used, I checked to see what photos were on the chip. There were just the few I took after the mass-delete.

You may be able to get some back but it is possible they were over written.

Download and install recuva from here: Click Here
Choose priform under the free version.

Make sure the camera is connected to the computer and open recuva.
Click next and then choose pictures and click next again.

Choose on media card or ipod then click next.
Put a check in the box that says enable deep scan and then click on start.

If anything at all can be recovered this will find it.
If it does not find anything unfortunately although I wish you could you will not be able to recover anything.

If you have any questions at all click on reply to expert and let me know.
If not please don’t forget to leave a positive rating for my help - it is greatly appreciated.
