I had just finished taking some photos. I removed my memory

Customer Question

I had just finished taking some photos. I removed my memory card from my camera. I inserted the memory card into my laptop. Usually, the Iphoto application pops up and the pictures load and I am asked if I would like to import the photos. This time, nothing happened. I took the memory card out of my computer and placed it back into my camera. The screen on my camera says "Memory card error"

My question is what do I do to make this stop happening?
Expert:  Viet - Camera Tech replied 1 year ago.

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Can you please make sure the locked switch on the memory card is not in the locked position, and check?

Can you format the card on the camera, and check?

If that does not work, the memory card may be bad since it does not work on either the computer or the camera. Can you please test with a new memory card on the camera?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you.
